]]> Melissa’s bridal session in Saxapahaw, North Carolina, was one of the most relaxing bridal sessions I’ve ever done. Melissa has a very sweet and laid-back personality, and since she is a naturally outdoorsy person she didn’t hesitate at all when I asked if she’d like to get some shots on the river. So after shooting for an hour at the Haw River Ballroom (a place special to her and Andrew), we climbed through the Haw riverbed as the sun set behind us. It was just us, the river, and the cicadas—so peaceful.

Melissa, thank you so much for having such a fun and relaxed bridal session with me! I hope that these photos will remind you of the peace you felt in your heart all throughout your engagement and leading up to your wedding day. And have fun sharing them with your husband, now that he is allowed to see you in your dress.  🙂
