]]> Kelsey + Alex’s relaxed celebration in Kelsey’s hometown of Davidson, NC, was extremely fun for me to shoot.  When I arrived to photograph Kelsey getting ready at her family home, she was still lounging in a robe at the kitchen table, bantering with her sisters and parents.  Her closeness to her family was a recurring theme throughout the wedding, and it was so fun to capture their often hilarious interactions. My favorite point was when Kelsey, famous for her status as the only girl on an all-male ice hockey team, strapped on her rollerblades to dance with her dad at the reception. I was sad to leave this unique, close-knit family behind at the end of the weekend upon my return to Durham.
