I dragged a heavy box full of art supplies on two ferries to get there (and made a makeshift rain covering for it when it started pouring one evening!) but it was worth the hassle. When I wasn't clad in a bikini painting on a grassy knoll, I skipped rocks with my partner, napped in the sun, and painted shells.

“Whimsical Shell” is a 12x12 inch original abstract painting. This textured painting features acrylic paint and a special shiny brand of interference paint that resembles the sheen of abalone shells when dry. Detailing of gold mica flakes makes the final piece pop. Your painting comes framed and wired in a contemporary white wood gallery frame.

I was wrestling with some heavy emotions all month, stirred by the sudden two minutes of darkness in broad daylight. This painting is a meditation on those "darker" aspects of myself and the way I run away from my true Self. I’m not one or the other, I’m good and bad, dark and light, all at once.

“Emergence” is a 20x20 inch original abstract painting. This textured painting features acrylic paint and a special shiny brand of interference paint that resembles the sheen of abalone shells when dry. This painting is a beacon of hope for anyone struggling with mental illness and the hard work of healing from trauma. You ARE enough, you can bear incredible loss, you can heal. This painting will point you back to your own inner springs of fortitude.
